Building Employees’ Commitment: Leveraging on Boss-Subordinate Relationship Paradigm

This study strived to examine the management of boss-subordinate relationship that has its own effects on commitment workforce banking sector in Rivers State, Nigeria. Poor relationships breeds a poor work climate as well contributes loss employees’ organisational goals. Adopting cross-sectional survey design, this covered all permanent employees and 10 banks were conveniently sampled from 22 operating state with total population 210 employees. The Krejcie Morgan sample determination table was used derive 136 respondents. Data gathered respondents analysed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient Statistical tools. test moderating effect culture employee sector. findings results tests data analyses revealed strong positive between dimensions measures therefore recommended complementary communication, empathy, leadership support mentorship should be taken seriously tools for managing also good created promoted enhance State.
